Download the Alertable App

Downloading the app to your smart phone or electronic device will allow you to receive instant push notifications straight to that device. We recommend allowing push notifications so that alerts pop up on your device.

Step1: Visit your App Store

    

Step 2: Confirm you have chosen the Alertable App and Download.

Step 3: Open the Alertable App and follow the in-app instructions for set-up.

Step 4: Once you have the app installed, it will ask you for a location. Please search for "Western University" and add any campus you visit as a location.

Please note: If you turn on the "Follow Me" option within the Alertable app, you will receive alerts when you are within a specific geographic boundary. Western is not able to track your individual location through this or any other app feature.

Important:

You cannot receive Alert WesternU notifications on your mobile device unless you have a smart phone and a data plan or are connected to a wireless network.
